چکیده

[1] This paper analyzes and attributes spatial and temporal patterns of changes in the diurnal cycle of land surface air temperature in 20 simulations from 11 global coupled atmosphere-ocean general circulation models during the 20th century and the 21st century under the SRES A1B scenario. Most of the warming in the maximum (Tmax) and minimum (Tmin) temperatures from 1900 to 2099 is attributed to enhanced surface downward longwave radiation (DLW), while changes in surface downward shortwave radiation (DSW) and cloud cover mainly contribute to the simulated decrease in the diurnal temperature range (DTR). Although the simulated DTR decreases are much smaller than the observed during the 20th century, the models unanimously predict substantial warming in both Tmax and Tmin and decreases in DTR, especially in high latitudes during the 21st century, in response to enhanced global-scale anthropogenic forcings (particularly greenhouse effects of atmospheric water vapor and in part aerosol radiative cooling in the tropics) and increased cloudiness in high latitudes. Comparison of LARS-WG and SDSM Downscaling Models for Prediction Temperature and Precipitation Changes under RCP Scenarios

Various methods developed to convert large-scale data to regional climatic data. In few studies , the results of these methods have been statistically compared. The main purpose of this study was to compare SDSM and LARS-WG models for Downscaling output data of CANE-SM2 and HADGEM2-ES general circulation models under RCP2.6, RCP4.5 and RCP8.5 scenarios. For this study, precipitation, minimum an...

The Trend Analysis and Forecasting of Extreme Temperature Parameters in southern part of the Caspian Sea

Increasing CO2 emissions and consequently, air temperature causes climate anomalies which affects all the aspects of human life. The purpose of this study was to assess the temperature changes and also to predict the extreme temperatures in Gilan and Mazandaran Provinces. To do this, the SDSM statistical and dynamical model was used. As well, it was applied the Mann-Kendal graphical and statist...
